People/Division Management
Communicates to employees managers requirements to employees ad vice versa
Tracking absenteeism, ensures the processes are being followed.
Reports to management on a weekly basis
Coordinates work between departments daily, weekly and monthly
Confers with management and subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints or grievances.
Management of the Design team
Allocation of jobs to design team
Basic quality of materials calculations

Cost Estimation
Briefs design and estimators on what needs to be costed when needed
Manages costing template

Technical drawings
Briefs technical designer and estimators on the drawings/design instruction
Meet with technical designer and estimator to discuss methods and materials for first draft
Manage record keeping and the building of manuals on all approved signage elements

Execution of design
Approves concepts and technical information received via e-mail from technical designer and estimators
Assist various departments on nesting files for the most economic use of the materials.

Qualifications and Experience
Five year graphic design experience
Matric
Graphic Design Diploma or Degree

Technical Skills required
Excel Advanced
MS Office
Corel Draw
Rhino & Flemingo 3D
Google Sketch up
Administration
