Function: Desktop Support
Reports to: Ops Lead
Role Purpose: Be a key figure within a high-performing team of Service Delivery Engineers, providing onsite and remote technical support to our corporate business. To achieve domain and technical expertise within your area, that benefits not only technology, but the business as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

Assist & Support Service Delivery Team Lead where/when required.
Provide on-site field support to customers, performs basic installations, repairs, upgrades and maintenance on hardware and equipment. Assists in the analysis of technical products, systems and/or software.
Work closely with the IT Service Delivery team to support the business in delivering a high level of IT support, meeting agreed SLA’s.
Take part in projects which can improve how the IT Service Delivery team function.
Take part in projects which can improve our customers experience with the hardware and software solutions IT provide.
Provides on call support based on a Rota system.
Qualifications and Experience

A+ and N+ certification required
2 years + in a Service Delivery support role.
Good troubleshooting skills
Hands on ability to fix hardware issues (PC’s)
Good knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows 7)
Experience of LAN’s (patching etc.)
Experience with Mac OS - not essential
Experience in a call centre environment prefferential dealing with UK clientelle.
1st and 2nd Line Helpdesk/Desktop Support.
