Position Description:

The position requires someone who possesses a comprehensive level of knowledge about Southern Africa and its destinations & regions. They must be able to consult clients and create custom packages to Southern Africa based not only on personal experience but also on extensive product, regional and logistical knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

Travel Industry Work Experience: Minimum 8 – 10 years
Diploma/Degree in Travel & Tourism
Travelogic/ Tourplan experience a plus

Core Competencies:

Proven sales ability – sales driven
Comprehensive understanding of Africa as a whole
Confidently consult on and sell multiple destinations and their regions within Southern Africa
Comprehensive product knowledge and excellent logistical expertise
Comprehensive personal and educational travel to multiple destinations and their regions within Southern Africa
Able to build and develop original, logistically sound and complex tours/packages and their day to day itineraries

Negotiable salary with sales incentive and performance bonuses
Based in Cape Town - Gardens
Office Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00am – 17:00pm with every alternate Sat 08:00am – 12:00pm
