Our Client an E-commerce financial client is looking for a developer.

Min Requirements
• Matric or relevant Qualification
• IT Degree or relevant IT qualification – ADVANTAGOUS
• 3 Years + Experience in primarily VB.Net and OR C#, will with time port into C#
• Requirements: Analytically minded, Numeric diligence, Self-starter, High levels of initiative
• Must be able to be a team-player, Willing to learn and Ability and desire to be flexible

Beneficial skills:
• VB.NET & C#
• PosgreSQL experience
• Winforms
• ASP .NET
• Working knowledge of developing and integrating into API’s
• PHP & GIT experience

Job role:
• Take over the development of an existing piece of software
• This software is written primarily in VB .NET , port into C#
• A smaller part of the software is written in C# , but more will port into C#
• The software makes use of a lot of SQL statements
• Integrate the above software into the operations of our existing software
• Our existing software is written accords PHP and C# platforms
• Assist to move towards more C# development in the future
• To assist in transformation to make use of MSSQL but may in the future

Ideal candidate’s skills:
• Intermediate level of knowledge of VB.NET
• Exposure to C# but would be willing to develop this knowledge to port to C# from VB.Net
• Someone with an intermediate knowledge of SQL (must be comfortable with joins and stored procedures)
