We are looking for a Developer Team Lead, reporting in to the CTO, to lead our Development team in Cape Town. This person will help build the team and create a pleasant and energetic working environment that is in line with our company culture. This role apart from managing people aspects will also take part in development and help drive technical and architectural decisions of our solutions that drive the business.

Skills & Requirements

We’re looking for someone with the following:

• 10+ years’ experience architecting and writing software
• 10+ years of experience in Microsoft.Net programming in C#
• 5+ years’ experience managing a team of 2 or more developers. Managing means that the people directly reported in to you.
• Experience building a team and keeping them motivated
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• 5+ years’ experience in web development using ASP.Net or ASP.MVC
• 5+ years’ experience in JavaScript and HTML
• Databases (Relational or Document oriented) and ORM experience ideally EF
• At least one example of an N-Tier enterprise level development that you were involved in architecting and developed with a team that you led.

 
Nice to haves would be:

• Experience with Azure or other cloud providers
• Experience in Durandal or Aurelia
• WPF Experience

 
During the interview we will be exploring your knowledge of Leadership of a Technology team, Architecture, Object Oriented Patterns and Practices, Concurrency and C#.
