An elite representative for leading international manufacturers and suppliers of specialty ingredients, offering products and services into the chemical industry is seeking a development chemist to join their team. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include product development and operational/customer support; candidate will be based at the Gauteng laboratories but will be required to travel internationally in support of customers and products; technical recommendations on customer sites.

Key Requirements: MSc Chemistry or related; strong technical background is essential; 3 years’ technical emulsifier knowledge and experience; Computer literacy (Excel, Ms Word, PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements: Problem solving skills; analytical thinker; planning and organising skills; excellent communication skills; attention to detail; innovative and quality orientated.

Remuneration: Market related and dependent on experience.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
