Skilled-Senior Position

7 years’ experience as a MISA or BIBA working with a Data warehouse environment

A leading Financial Corporate is searching for a Management Information Systems Development Manager who has a technical background in systems management to improve performance and streamline workflows

Responsibilities:
• Managing team of MISA experts
• Customer Requirements Specification - Listen, understand and document client requirements
• Facilitate activities like interviews or JAD sessions to expand the understanding of the business requirements
• Testing and validating the functionality of the technical solution against the customer's requirements
• Interfacing between the business client and the development team with regards to the customer and product requirements
• Ensuring that the business requirements are delivered in the implemented solution. Working with multiple business areas and multiple teams that require deep integration of solutions
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and acting as consultant on the application
• Gain an understanding of the various online systems and data sources feeding into the Data Warehouse

Qualifications (Essential):
• Informatics or Other Relevant Degree
• Honours degree (Beneficial)
• Advanced UML course
• BPMN Course
• PM training or qualification

Experience:
• Managing team of MISA/BIBA specialists
• More than 7 years’ experience as a MISA or BIBA working with a Data warehouse
• Good understanding of working within a structured SDLC
• Data warehouse\Star Schema design & implementation
• Good understanding of meta data and meta data management

Knowledge:
Processes & Methodologies –
• ITIL, CMMI, SDLC(waterfall, agile)
• DW Design(Kimball\Inmon)

Technical Skills –
• Project Management, SQL queries, Business Writing skills, Presentation and Facilitation Skills, Solution Architecture, Process Mapping, Entity Diagram mapping, Software & functional testing

Technologies –
• Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Cognos, Qlikview
