Qualifications
B.Sc Quantity Surveying or Building Science related degree

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of Property Development experience

Responsibilities

• Strategically align / interface with Asset Management Strategies and deliver superior developments within the investment criteria.
• Manage developments within budget, on programme and with good quality and ensure compliance with all statutory, building regulations and procurement guidelines.
• Analyse and manage new development opportunities to maximise the returns for the company and unlock the value of vacant land and bulk in hand.
• Value engineering of developments or redevelopments concepts and refinement to ensure future proofing of the investment.
• Implement “Green” and sustainable principles to developments and responsibly manage any direct impact that we might have on communities and the environment.
• Build strong client relationships and formulate strategic / alliances and pursue key accounts management and turnkey developments.
• Assessment of the existing portfolio and identification and implementation of refurbishment and development opportunities.
• Implement best practices in relation to the appointment of professional teams / contractors and keep abreast of the market trends and best practices.
• Manage and direct the development team to ensure that the development process complies with the company’s requirements and improve development synergies between regions and sectors.
• Provide on-going leadership and mentoring; define the performance parameters of managed teams and measurement of areas under supervision.
