A Leading Financial (International platforms) seeks a Development Manager (Scrum) who is an expert on Scrum and Agile & a master facilitator

Responsibilities:
• Act as Scrum master for 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work
• Help to achieve Sprint Goals & facilitate Sprint Planning
• Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal
• Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing
• Coach and mentor other scrum masters in the product team.
• Help to grow cohesive cross-functional teams and foster good communication between the disciplins (BAs, developers, UX and UI designers, testers)
• Effectively facilitate Scrum meetings in order to make teams more productive
• Act as a change agent to help introduce change and continuous improvement to the team and organisation

Qualifications & Experience:
• Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner
• Knowledge and/or experience of Kanban
• Relevant IT or project management related degree
• Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2)
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
• At least 1 years experience working in a Scrum Master role
• At least 2 years experience working in an agile environment, preferably in a variety of situations
• Experience with transitioning organisations to agile a benefit

Technical Knowledge:
• Act as a project manager when necessary.
• Actively contribute to the company’s Agile and Lean Community
• Keep the rest of the company network aware of activities.
• Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
• Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a Scrum development team
