Position : Devops Engineer
Work location : Johannesburg, SA
Contract : 9 months and Extendable

Job Description:

8 to 11 years of experience (Prior development background preferred)
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD solutions for Java, Microsoft and Mobile platform
Experience troubleshooting and fixing day to day CI/CD issues and providing on-call support
Experience with branching/merging practices and release procedures
Good verbal/written communication skills
Proficient working with Linux and windows environment
Knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies
Knowledge of cloud environment and services

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitLab)
• Build Tools (Maven, MSBuild, Ant)
• Code quality (SonarQube, JUnit)
• SCM tools (SVN, Git)
• Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc)
• Repository (Nexus, Artefactory)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud )
• Application Servers (JBoss, Tomcat, IIS)
• Configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)

Good to have:

DB Automation tools (Liquibase, Redgate)
