Diesel Mechanic – Chamdor (Krugersdorp)

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, responsible for effective repairs and maintenance of the Company fleet vehicles and equipment pertaining to the Surfacing/Bituminous/Roads environment..

Experience / Qualifications

- Trade tested Mechanic qualification
- At least 5 years’ Previous experience as a trade tested mechanic
- Previous experience working on Mercedes, ERF, Renault, MAN trucks
- Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics
- Bilingualism, of which English is one language spoken and written
- Code 10/14 Drivers licence
- Own transport

Advantageous:

- Previous experience in a similar environment/ with similar equipment

- Flexibility (adaptability in terms of irregular working hours and travel/working away from home – required to do repairs on site, sometimes staying on site for a few days until repairs are complete.
