N4 National Certificate Mechanical
Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate through a recognised institution and/or apprenticeship**
Should have a Supervisory Development Programme certificate
Minimum of five-8 years post trade test qualification experience in working in a trackless mining environment as a diesel mechanic with supervisory experience on trackless mine vehicles essential
Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
Valid Drivers’ License essential
Willing to relocate to all areas
Ensure the efficient supervision and control of Trackless processes and maintenance by allocating and managing resources (people and equipment) to attain production and engineering objectives
Communicate equipment information and changes to relevant stakeholder to minimize production delays
Continuously analyse equipment/machine efficiencies to recommend or implement improvements and changes to maximize machine utilisation
Liaise with clients and supervisors with regards to maintenance standard achievements and machine/equipment key performance indicators (KPI)
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders of the production process to ensure operational optimization
Manage subordinate activities to ensure achievement of maintenance standard requirements
Perform administrative duties to ensure record accuracy and availability, budget compliance and spares availability
Perform risk assessments as well as monitor and maintain a safe and healthy working environment
Plan activities in accordance with production, breakdowns and maintenance schedules and allocate/source resources as required
Responsible for updating and maintaining of all relevant HSE information
R28 000- R32 000 plus negotiable- plus overtime / standby and call out pay
