Our Client, a supplier of earth moving equipment, is seeking an extra 2 dedicated and committed diesel mechanics for field work.

Requirements:

Valid Matric/Grade 12/N2 certificate
Valid South African Driver’s license
Trade tested Section 13 DM certificate
Computer literate with Autocad software experience
Proven track record of a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the earthmoving industry
Contactable land line references
Confidentiality is of prime importance
Excellent communication skills, strong administrative and report writing skills
Self-motivated and out of the box thinker – fault finding
Ability to work out of town and overtime

Key Performance Area:

Maintain, service and overhaul of all earth moving equipment
Uphold SHEQ procedures and standards on site
Administrative duties: issue job cards, order parts or liaise with outsourced providers to assist
Manage and train charge hands (appys)
Weekly reports to line manager
