My client is a market leader in the car rental environment based in Isando who requires a dynamic individual who will need to provide support by assisting in the digital Channel Headquarters. The successful candidate must be able to have atechnical, questioning and analytical mind as well as a helpful and supportive communication.
Minimum criteria for the position:
• Matric
• BCom degree or relevant tertiary qualification (or studying towards degree) - Majors in Statistics preferable
• Minimum 2 years working experience
• Experience with analysis of online marketing initiatives preferable
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s license
• Knowledge of forecasting models
• Sound statistical background
• Knowledge of online tracking and conversion systems
• Knowledge of search engine marketing rankings and data preferable
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Adwords preferable
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access proficiency
• Proficiency in a statistical modeling tool such as SPSS or Minitab preferred

Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
• Support the strategic objective of driving revenue and dominating online acquisition channels by measuring, analysing and forecasting accurately.

• Manage the Google Adwords/other paid media accounts to budgeted ROI
• Improve and run the monthly sales channel forecasting model
• Compile and ensure accuracy of monthly channel reports and executive dashboard reports
• Daily Analysis – Google analytics, online tracking data, forward and cumulative reservations reporting and recommendation to segment and yield managers, analysis of internet pricing by market, revenue and rentals analysis by segment, analysis of paid media and search engine marketing campaigns, updating of executive dashboard reports
• Liaise with segment managers re analysis and recommendation wrt pricing , trends and performance data
• Newsletters – Monitor and measure revenue performance vs targets.
• Continuous improvement of Digital channels reporting and statistical analysis
• Projects and other proactive analysis to identify opportunities
• Monitoring of Google, Adwords account, paid media campaigns. Working closely with agency to gain understanding of PPC
• Competitor analysis online
