Our client is searching for a Digital Communications Specialist with superb attention to detail to join their incredibly crazy and forward-thinking team.

The mandate is to grow their fan base fast and that means engaging with them on apps, websites, and social media with attention grabbing content that keeps people coming back for more.

Our Team
You’ll be working with other instrumental pieces of a large, dynamic puzzle that fit nicely inside a creative, vibrant environment. Your role is closely intertwined with that of the product designers, ensuring that the apps, websites, and mobi sites are optimally designed to highlight the great content you’ll be producing.

You will also work closely with social media, marketing and business owners across the continent.

As a team, they’re constantly evolving and changing with the times; keeping abreast of the latest new media trends and technologies.

Requirements
o Promoting brand acquisition and retention in an editorial capacity across the digital platforms.
o Promoting content discovery on the digital platforms.
o Publishing content supplied by PR departments
o Ensuring an aligned, hyper-local content strategy is adopted in conjunction with broader business requirements.
o Contributing to the marketing and social media strategy.
o Contributing to product design initiatives.
o Coming up with ingenious ways to get eyeballs on the digital platforms.
o Assisting the team with any ad-hoc requirements.

Do you have all the right credentials?

Required qualifications?
· Tertiary qualification in Communication, Media Studies, or other relevant subjects

In order to best slot into this role, you’ll need to back yourself up with of a wealth of knowledge. This will cover the following areas:

· Knowledge of subscribers, content, devices and digital platforms. As well as an overview of competitors.
· Proven ability to write engaging copy quickly for the web in the right style for the intended audience.
· Ability to edit the work of others at a fast pace.
· Proven use and extensive knowledge ofthe internet.
· Web writing experience is an extremely huge advantage.
