Requirements: -
Relevant Degree/Diploma, equivalent to – QCTO National Certificate: IT (Systems Development)
3 years technology consulting or other relevant industry experience
Strong Web development skills
Good knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Programming, E-Commerce, Cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Web scripting, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, PHP Scripting.
Expert knowledge of the WordPress platform (multi-site) and the use of various WordPress plugins is critical

The role is responsible for designing, coding, modifying, and maintaining websites from layout to function and according to the client’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.


Management:
Effective information gathering through work sessions to define the requirements
Compilation of scoping documentation for client signature
Management of the support mailbox

Service access:
Creation and refreshing of unique client user-registration emails
Distribution of regular, individual email newsletters monthly
Distribution and management of ad-hoc newsletter campaigns with corresponding website content and updates
Maintain all existing websites and platforms

Service relevance:
Analyse the requirements to determine the most effective technologies and customer requirements
Collection and creation of technology components and integration of such into a coherent site design

Service quality:
Ensure user sign-off of the product through UAT to ensure all requirements are met
Ensure the site is published with all required functionality
Continuously strive to improve existing digital technologies
Research and present advancements which would positively impact the Digital Strategy and platforms

Service efficiency:
Follow a structured design process that includes adherence to laws, standards and established development and delivery guidelines
Create visually pleasing, content rich and user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation

Service experience:
Ensure excellent customer experience
