Digital Marketing Manager - Cape Town (EE)

We are currently recruiting for a highly innovative, energetic, entrepreneurial and creative digital marketer. The Digital Marketing Manager will create smart and efficient digital campaigns; which coordinate and maximize the returns of our advertising campaigns, blog posts and giveaways, customer and product reviews, celebrity endorsements and product placements, as well as our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating maximum engagement across digital customer points for specific campaigns. The campaigns will execute as required to support specific digital product and / or marketing initiatives, relating to offers, rewards, loyalty, brand engagement, and more.

You will satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• Ideally be an experienced marketing professional passionate about new technologies & media.
• A relevant degree (or equivalent) in media and digital marketing.
• 5 years’ experience client side or agency(media planning, account management, brand management)
• Experience in managing CRM / Loyalty (reward scheme) platforms
• Proven experience in digital marketing (Social Media, ePR, eCommerce, eCRM, Search, Media)
• Strong understanding of the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with Adobe solutions, sound understanding of Internet Technologies with a proficiency in the use of web and e-mail.
• Possess a strong attention to detail, ability to foresee needs and resolve obstacles.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Digital Marketing: content production, community management and consumers interaction
• Integrated Communications: Media planning and campaigns execution and timing
• Project management, teamwork and agencies coordination
• Reporting, tracking results and optimizing digital assets, budget and interactions
• Knowledge sharing, consumers trends and technology watch
• Consumer Relationship Marketing
• Retention Marketing

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Cape Town.
