Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist (must have experience in ecommerce business)
Location: Paulshof, Johannesburg

Purpose of Position: Digital marketing specialists are responsible for developing the strategy used in marketing a company's product online. This is done by putting together various online promotions and e-mailing campaigns to get their company's message out, and also by performing consumer research to discover other ways of reaching customers by way of the Internet.

Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive digital marketing experience required, including ecommerce experience
Must be an expert in Google Adwords and search engine optimization
Must be an expert in google analytics
Must have working knowledge of onsite merchandising
Must be happy to work in a team environment
Must have at least 5 yrs experience in online digital marketing
Passionate and energetic.
Attention to detail, thorough and precise execution.
Manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills and exceptionally organised.
Use logic and have initiative.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for the planning, design, optimization maintenance, measurement and reporting of the companies websites, ecommerce, social media, click-to-customer-service, and demand generation programs to increase brand awareness and preference
Generate qualified leads
Improve customer service
Increase ecommerce and offline sales
Responsible for developing, managing, implementing, measuring and reporting on other marketing communications projects for brand awareness
