Job Description:
Digital Marketing Specialist

R40,000 CTC p/m
Our client a leader in the automotive industry seeks a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team to oversee all all aspects of Digital Marketing for the business and will be required to create and present reports on Digital Performance to various stakeholders.

Please take note that due to the company's BBBEE policies, preference is given to suitable EE candidates who fit the requirements set down below.

Please see below requirements, this is a SPECIALIST position that requires 5 years experience as a Digital Marketer, so in order to be considered you MUST have that experience. This position is NOT for graduates or junior level marketers. Your appication will be deleted immediately if you are not a SPECIALIST in the Digital Marketing sphere! NO CHANCERS!

Minimum Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in Marketing / Digital Marketing
Literacy Requirements:

Google Adwords
Google Analytics
Google Tag Manager
Google Business
Facebook + Facebook Ads Manager
SharpSpring
Hotjar
Google Data Studio (advantageous)
live chat tool for business
Development skills would be advantageous (experience with building websites)
Minimum required knowledge to be applied to operational responsibilities

Website:
Focus on increasing traffic to website
Responsible for SEO audits of website as well as implementation of SEO changes and requesting changes from developers
Obtain & interpret website analytics reports
Creating and presenting reports on website performance
Run Hotjar heatmaps on website, so a good understanding of the Hotjar console is required. Heatmaps will have to be set and interpreted by the Digital Specialist

Liaise with media agency on UTM tagging, channel performance, etc.
Social Media:
Maintaining social presence for business
Obtaining & Interpreting reports & feedback from agencies
Facebook + Facebook Ads Manager: scheduling of posts to be boosted as well as interpreting results from reports. Boosting will be done by agency
Marketing Automation
A good understanding of the SharpSpring console overall. Mailers will be created by agency, but performance reports will have to be interpreted
Understanding Marketing Automation & email marketing process
Ensuring that campaigns & tasks are executed
Reporting back to business units on activities
Digital performance:
Google Adwords - Ads are created and managed by agency, but they rely on the Digital Specialist for guidance and interpretation
Google Analytics – Analytics is our primary website performance management tool and the Digital Specialist will be required to be the custodian. They will use Analytics each month to analyse and draw up monthly reports, thus, very good knowledge of this tool is required
The Digital Specialist will be the custodian of the Google Tag Manager account and will thus be required to add, manage and remove tags
The Digital Specialist will be the custodian of our Google Business account and will thus be required to add and manage listings, and create monthly reports for the business
The ability to create dashboards on Google Data Studio will be advantageous.
BOT
Interest in website and Facebook Messenger BOTS
Ability / inclination to create BOT
Sharing digital expertise in the business
Work with creative and media agencies to ensure that best ROI is achieved
Reporting back to business on digital performance
Act as consultant / trainer to franchise marketing managers to improve their understanding of digital
As the digital expert, must be able to train, present, advise and make recommendations to the business
Minimum general requirements

Must be able to multi-task and work on a variety of brand sites
Manage work to deadlines and accordance with schedule
Managing a multitude of tasks concurrently
Work within a team set-up
Minimum experience required:

Minimum 5 year experience in digital media and/or website development for a corporate company and NOT an agency
