Digital Media Analyst

Location: Randburg, JHB
Salary: R20k – R30k per month negotiable
 
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years online digital experience, in digital or social publishing and analytics
Knowledge of website content publishing, a broad understanding of social media platforms, and excellent analytical skills.
Needs to be familiar with online and social media platforms and publishing in a professional environment (i.e. Websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google Plus, Vine etc.)
Strong analytical and numeracy abilities required, and a qualification in marketing, communications, advertising or statistics
Skilled in industry related research and stats tools, such as Google Analytics, Social Bakers, Effective Measure, and have a good understanding of SEO and digital marketing
Own transport an advantage
Candidate should be able to speak, write and publish in English
Needs to be computer literate (experience with Apple Mac), technically minded, and have excellent MS Office software skills (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint presentations)
Experience with image editing software or design, such as Photoshop, an advantage
 
Duties:
Content research and analysis of website and social media platforms, online stats, trends, and interpreting digital metrics, for a fast-paced and dynamic television environment.
Interactive media metrics research, analysis and reporting
Interpreting online stats and trends in a report and presentation format
Social and online planning and campaign strategy
Digital content creation and publishing for online or social media platforms
