R15 000 CTC per month (including benefits). Sandton. Large and well established advertising company seeks a Digital Systems Administrator to operate a digital signage network across South Africa.

Minimum Requirements:

Min 2-3 years experience in operating various digital signage networks and media players
Advance knowledge of software such as DC Media, Digital Signage, Broadsign is preferential
General knowledge of video and audio signal processing, encoding and formats
Strong understanding of audio and video codecs
Strong IT knowledge with good understanding of networking. WAN and Cloud Services (A+ and N+ advantage)
Experience within development and production environments
Advance understanding of digital signage software
Key task and responsibilities:

Assist in planning of and responsible for maintaining numerous digital signage networks in malls, airports, bars, medical suites and roadsides
Provide ongoing guidance and support to internet and external clients regarding their advertisements
Transcode content from source video and audio formats to required formats for consumption by devices
Work with the relevant departments to create, schedule and manage advertising loops on digital signage across numerous platforms
Analyse, troubleshoot and escalate issues related to the digital signage network
Manage digital support helpdesk
