A leading generic pharmaceutical company is seeking the skills and expertise of a seasoned Generic Sales Representative to join their team! No Detailing experience required but rather strong Direct Sales to Scripting Doctors and various Pharmacies.

POSITION            :              DIRECT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

AREA                    :             JHB SOUTH & OFS

SALARY                        :                   R 35 000 TO R 40 000 PER MONTH CTC

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a completed Matric
• Relevant qualifications highly advantageous
• Minimum 3 years' proven track record in Generic Pharma sales
• Anti-vertigo, CNS, Urology, CVS, Diabetic and Anti-infective product experience advantageous
• Valid Driver's license
• MUST be willing to Travel every 2 weeks to Free State

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Portfolio

• Well established existing customer relationship is preferred
• Strong direct sales experience is preferred 
• Scripting doctor/dispensing doctor/retailing pharmacy and independent pharmacy experience is essential 
• Wholesaler interaction and dealings is an advantage 
• Management of Corporate client exposure is essential (e.g. Clicks/Dischem) 
• Good track record of consistent performance in terms of 100% above budget vs achievement is essential.

Product Portfolio:

• Scheduled pharmaceutical product experience is essential (preferably not OTC experience) 
• Anti-infective, CNS, CVS, Respiratory, Anti-Diabetic, Anti-inflammatory 

Allowances: 

• Company provides a “Cellphone allowance” (over and top of the basic salary) 
• Company provides a “Tablet” for correspondence email, Repwise etc. (over and top of the basic salary) 
• Company provides a “Petrol Card” and “E Tag” (over and top of the basic salary)
