Currently the client base is expanding to cover South Africa nationally and in addition exports into Africa is taking off. The Role

• Co-ordinates the despatch of goods to customers, retail outlets, etc. in conjunction with the sales order, warehousing and transport departments.
• Develops itineraries for deliveries that best meet the needs of prompt delivery, effective use of vehicles and fuel consumption.
• Maintains liaison between sales and manufacturing in the availability of products.
• Planned distribution incl. products, people, vehicles, routes & customers
• Optimise fleet utilisation
• Executed customer service delivery incl. orders, products, queries & cash
• Optimised stock management of final good
• Managed team, equipment and vehicles including crates, pallets, scales and forklifts
• Manage & control daily activity of dispatch department.
• Compile dispatch plan according to scheduled customer orders
• Liaise with production department regarding products for dispatch
• Compile cost effective route planning to agreement with customer
• Manage and control loading procedures
• Receive and resolve customer queries
• Ensure correct invoicing procedure are follow at all times
• Liaising with accounts dept i.e customers account
• Manage and control allocated budget and vehicle maintenance
• Liaising with Sale Manager & Sales reps according customer deliveries
• Checking off returned pod’s
• Ensure Health and Safety Standards being adhered to
• Supervising of workers including admin, drivers, quality controllers
