A company based in Sandton is looking for a Dispatch Manager.

Matric and or Equivalent
Diploma In Fleet Management will be an advantage.
Atleast 3 years exposure and experience of fleet, routing, dispatch and distribution experience.
Atleast 1 year experience in the Logistics industry.
Valid Drriver Licence Required - CODE 10, PDP will be a Big advantage.
Physically Fit and needs to be able to work overtime when required to do so.

Proven supervisory skills with the ablity to optimise team performances and development.
Planning and organizing skills, must be analytical and have good numerical skills.
Good Communication skills, negotiating skills with excellent problem solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Key Responsibilities-
POD Management control, Risk Management.
Create and Manage all routes, first and Second runs, For specific time deliveries for local deliveries.
Responsible for proper and correct dispatch of goods with courier companies.
Ensure that all drivers are properly trained on company policies and procedures, driver polocy, proper attire, customer service, health and safety and delivery driving ability.
Route new customer accounts, review all routes and resolve inefficiencies.
ensure orders go out on time and on the correct day.
Ensure that all logsheets are filled in correctly.
Ensure that all companies vehiclkes are serviced, well maintained and clean at all times.
Perform other tasks as directed by management.
