Duties & responsibilities:

Discuss the client's eyewear needs & choose the appropriate frame to satisfy the client's comfort, appearance and prescription requirements
Discuss and recommend types of lenses and lens enhancements
Ensure lenses conform to the prescription of the Optometrist
Ensure the new eyewear fits correctly and comfortably
Ensure the finished product meets quality standards
Repairs and adjustments to spectacles
Keep accurate patient records

Requirements:

Relevant qualification as Optical Dispenser
HPCSA registered
IT Skills (MS Office etc.)
Working knowledge of all Medical Aids
Minimum 3 years qualified experience
