WAREHOUSE / DISTRIBUTION ADMINISTRATOR – NELSPRUIT:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 Essential preference will be given to candidates with Mathematics, Science, Accounting and Economics
• Proficiency certificate for MS Office is essential. Very strong Advanced Excel Skills with the necessary certificates essential.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have own transport to do Banking, etc. Will be refunded at AA Tariff for distances travelled.

MAIN DUTIES:
• Supervise and coach warehouse staff and contract staff (Cleaners, Pickers & Drivers)
• Assist customers and resolve any stock or delivery queries that may arise
• Responsible for all couriers and logistics - Inbound & Outbound
• Responsible for coordinating and overseeing / reporting on regular cycle counts as well as monthly full stock counts
• Ensuring that warehouse staff efficiently manages picking and dispatching processes
• Accountability and responsibility for opening and closing the collections counter
• Responsible for collecting and handing over COD PAYMENTS on a daily basis and sending required reconciliations to HQ on a daily basis
• Record cash payments according to the Distribution invoice and Distribution’s accounting policies
• Ensure that warehouse staff provides efficient customer service to Distribution’s collection customers
• Ensuring staff portray a professional image to Distribution’s customers, including dress code
• Comply with Distribution’s collection processes before handing stock over to customers
• Oversee and monitor the accuracy of invoice stock according to the picking slip and actual stock
• Ensure the escalation of collection queries to the relevant sales person or credit controller to ensure that customers are serviced within Distribution’s lead times
• Ensure that the branch banking is done and reconciliation schedules are sent to Head Office on a daily basis with supporting documentation
• Adhere to Distribution’s month end deadlines and comply with all the relevant processes
• Adhere to Distribution’s stock and cycle count deadlines on a daily basis
• Attend scheduled Distribution stock counts
• Manage the Distribution stock transfer process from HQ
• Manage aged stock in accordance with Distribution parameters
• Enforce and observe Distribution’s warehouse security protocols and processes
• General housekeeping rules need to be complied with and the collections area needs to be kept to Distribution’s professional standards at all times
• Punctuality is not negotiable
• Saturday and after hours work is a requirement when stock counts occur, and branch meetings held after hours
• Deal with all building requirements
• Raise and complete RFQ’s, purchase order requests, and supplier payments, with Facilities & Finance Depts
• Ensure that general maintenance on the Distribution generators & all other contracts/contractors are in accordance with Distribution Standards.
