RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced DISTRIBUTION MANAGER (LOGISTICS / FMCG INDUSTRY) for a large concern, position based in Pinetown.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Degree / Diploma in Warehousing, Supply Chain or Logistics or similar.
Previous experience in a distribution managerial position is essential.
5+ years management experience in a logistics / FMCG environment.
Distribution experience a must within an FMCG environment.
Proven financial, business and project management skills.
Strong with the financial aspects of the business.
Must be able to successfully drive sales for the business.
Must be able to demonstrate high levels of people leadership, sound business skills, commercial awareness, effective communication, project management
skills and the ability to think and act in a national, regional global mindset.
Demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on process
improvement.
Will be required to manage and oversee the telesales department.
Will be required to oversee two sites and travel in between these two sites on a weekly basis.
