KEY PURPOSE:
Responsible for the daily planning of orders as well as delivery, customer scheduling and adjusting for once off special requests from customers. To plan, update and allocate available resources, customer files and territories so that dealer demands can be met and asset utilization can be optimized

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE ENHANCED:
•Distribution productivity monitored and managed by ensuring optimal usage of distribution resources.
•Out of delivery day and emergency orders schedules managed.
•Fleet Loader Planning to Fleet loader optimization.
•Bay Scheduling

CUSTOMER SERVICE ENHANCED:
•Distribution capacity managed.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
•Matric
•A minimum of a relevant three year post-matric qualification.
•Minimum of 18 months experience in load planning or distribution operations will be an advantage.
•Well developed computer skills.
•Broad understanding and knowledge of the business (value chain and support processes) – including understanding of distribution methods and principles.
•Understanding of the customer value chain.
•SAP experience will be an advantage.
•This is a 6 day working week position.
