DISTRICT SALES MANAGER, STEELPOORT, RNEG

GRADE 12 + DEGR / DIPL IN MINING/ CONSTRUCTION + EXP IN RMC / CEMENT / BRICK INDUSTRY. 5 YEARS SALES EXP IN SELLING IN THE MINING SECTOR (PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT). MANAGEMENT OF PLANT AT MINING SITE + MANAGEMENT OF STAFF.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:
Ø Running and ensuring a smooth production process of the plant.
Ø Liaise with customers and build customer relations.
Ø Develop and maintain market share.
Ø Report on sales and marketing achievements.
Ø Maintenance of product quality.
Ø Supervise and Manage staff at the plant.
Ø Management of the health, safety and environmental programmes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Ø Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification and preferably a relevant tertiary qualification in the mining or construction field.
Ø A minimum of 5 years sales experience in a production environment at supervisory level with a strong commercial focus.
Experience selling in the mining sector is crucial as the clients in the area are the mining industry.
