Looking for a DMC Wholesale Assistant Manager for Inbound Tour Company
Qualifications and knowledge:
3-5 years management or supervisory experience in the hospitality/tourism industry (tour operating environment preferred)
Minimum of 3 years inbound experience at a senior level in the hospitality/tourism industry
Extensive knowledge of Tourplan
In-depth Geographical, Logistical and Product Knowledge of South, Southern and East Africa

Constantly re-evaluating internal processes, eliminating any re-work to ensure the smooth, effective and efficient functioning of the teams
Continuously striving to ensure that relationships with Agents, Guests, Suppliers and Lodges remain strong, open and transparent
Quality control of itineraries and cover letters sent to the agents – ensure itineraries and cover letters are creative, detailed and ensure all details are answered and explained to agent
Managing a team of travel consultants and a reservations assistant
Oversee and continuously ensure that the team is trained, informed and kept up to date with the latest product information, product offerings, 3rd party specials, Lodge updates and Lodge offers.
Manage costs in line with revenues and budgets in conjunction with the reservations manager
Ensure through quality control that the team is profitable and that margins remain in line with guidelines
Month end processes and procedures for the team
Assist with weekly reports received by the reservations assistant
