An aircraft manufacturer requires a draughtsman or draftsman or with SolidWorks experience.
The person will be responsible for the following:
• making 3d and 2d drawings of new and existing aircraft
• aircraft parts
• jigs and tools
• complex aircraft sheet metal and composite parts
• electrical wiring diagrams
• manufacturing drawings
• manufacturing jigs
• aircraft assembly instructions
• liaise with factory staff
• follow projects right through to a successful conclusion
• troubleshoot production issues relating to drawings of parts, assemblies and jigs

Skill Set
• a drafting diploma
• drafting training
• a minimum of 3 years full-time mechanical engineering drafting experience
• experience on 3d and 2d drawings
• SolidWorks experience an advantage
• sheet metal drafting an advantage
• an excellent knowledge of drafting standards and techniques
• some knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
