DRIVER – FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE (CASUAL)

A well-known Company based in Westlake is seeking to employ a Driver on a Casual basis.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:-
Matric / Grade 12
Valid Drivers’ Licence (PDP) – C10, C1, EC1 or 4x4
2 years’ experience in a fire fighting environment
High tolerance stress level
Excellent references
Experience in driving a fire fighting truck

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Safe transportation of fire fighters
Complete daily vehicle checklist
Complete vehicle logbooks
Completion of checklist for all terrain fire fighting vehicles and tankers to ensure that specified items of equipment are on board and in a serviceable condition
Professional handling of vehicles and equipment
Compliance with traffic regulations
