JOB SUMMARY

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

? Evaluation of Drivers performance during their probation periods;
? On and off the road training of drivers guilty of non-conformance on diesel consumption;
? Conduct behind-the-wheel training;
? Evaluate driver performances, incidents, damages in order to assist Management in addressing issues that could include disciplinary hearings;
? Assist in Disciplinary Hearing preparations (Tacho's, logbooks, damages etc).
? Re-trains after accidents, near misses and/or negative observations;
? Attend Drivers Committee meetings;
? Act as Driver Liaison regarding training that fall under the ambit of a planned Driver Academy;
? Work as Senior Fleet Controller every second weekend;
? Responsible for the compiling of the Monthly Diesel Consumption Report of the drivers and to address drivers not performing;

Requirements:
Valid PDP
Grade 12 with 5 years relevant work experience;
Computer Literate
Willingness to work overtime and extended hours away from home.
