You DEFINITELY need a thorough technical understanding already of the products eg CCTV,alarms,access control,fire detection,electric fencing and other technology (possibly gained from a couple of years doing installations)

You need a Good client base already established

You definitely need your own car

You will handle/interface with highly technical Key Account buyers and need to be able to offer technical advice
