Food and Beverage / Duty Manager**May consider couples where the partner is one of the following candidates with 5* lodge experience:Lodge Anchor – SJ0943Minimum Level 1 Back Up Trails Guide – SJ0942Reserve Ranger – SJ0945Lodge / Motor Mechanic – SJ0941Game Reserve Manager – SJ0940 OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:Safari JOBS is now searching for a Food and Beverage / Duty Manager for an approximately 9,000 hectare Reserve with a safari lodge based in the Waterberg area. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric/Grade12Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management(May consider candidates with outstanding experience)Must have good knowledge of wines, cocktails and fine diningMust have the ability to train and manage waitering staffMust be prepared to get their hands dirty and assist with serving in the Bar, Restaurant and in the 'Bush' when necessaryMust be able to multi-task and assist in other areas when required to do soMust be able to work long hour and be able to work under pressureMust be computer literateMust have unendorsed Drivers licence, preferably with a current PDP and own transportMust be fluent in both English and AfrikaansMust have a minimum of 1.5 - 2 years in a 5* Game Lodge in a similar positionInternational hospitality experience - advantage REMUNERATION(Negotiable dependent on experience, qualifications and suitability)R7, 0000.00 – R9, 000.00 per month ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:Accommodation(Own room in a communal staff house – will share a bathroom and kitchen with other staff) OTHER INFORMATION:Staff need to fund and prepare their own mealsMust be very familiar with 5* hospitality standards LEAVE / WORK CYCLE:As the lodge has recently re-opened the work cycles are slightly erratic and as such there are currently no structured work / leave cycles.Leave / days off will be given back very fairly and accordingly.
