OverviewOur client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Duty Manager for a new 5 Star lodge that is opening in the Lephalale district. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years relevant experience within a 4/5 Star Lodge / Hotel and will be responsible for the daily operation of all the different areas within the LodgeRemuneration: Salary : R 8000 - R 10 000.00 ( negotiable based on experience)Live in Single status Meals providedAdditional Benifits to be discussed in the interview Important for all Applicants: Preferably apply on line to this advert or send to [Please apply below] ( Reference ZJ - 406) Applications must include Very detailed CVHead and shoulders photolist of qualifications at least 3 contactable references The ideal candidate will be able to handle the following duties: Control, manage and maintain excellent operational standards at the respective Lodge outlets including but not limited to cost control, stock control, quality control in food and beverage.Adhere to prescribed company / Lodge standards attached with the highest level of guest and staff satisfaction.Plan, organize, direct and control the day-to-day running of the operation as well as the associates in the outlets in order to achieve your financial targets.Have good business acumen in dealing with all financial aspects of the operations.Deal with all labour issues effectively in order to avoid any workplace disputes and create a harmonious environment conducive to increased associate productivity.Provide creative solutions on any challenges within company parameters and ensure good corporate governance.Manage with uncompromising integrity, honesty and compassion.Remain motivated and handle pressure situations with a positive character.Effectively report on the daily, weekly & monthly progression of the Lodge operations to Senior Management.Establish excellent relationships with guests, and staff team in order to ensure satisfaction levels remains on a high. Skills, Experience & EducationalRequirements: Grade 12 / Matric as a minimumA tertiary education - Hotel school qualification is a requirementAn excellent command of the English languageFinancial skills at a reasonable levelDriver’s LicenseHospitality Experience (3-5 years including training)Computer Literacy – Word, Excel, office, Outlook, PMS systems
