International engineering group are looking for an experienced E, C & I Engineer to provide all aspecs of the electrical, control & instrumentation engineering for tendering and project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Assist with preparation and approval of P&ID’s and design documentation including plant layout design.
b) Preparation of detailed design for manufacture, of single line diagrams, electrical load list, IO lists, control architecture, loop diagrams, MCC/PLC cabinets, cable routing, installation bill of materials, etc
c) Prepare schedules and datasheets for design and procurement in accordance with client specifications.
d) Prepare sub contractor electrical/instrument installation scope of work specification.
e) Assist with technical adjudication and sub contractor evaluation.
f) Prepare documentation and manuals for process control, narrative/philosophy, installation, commissioning, operating & maintenance etc.
g) Design, engineer and test (FAT) in-house plc and hmi software systems for plants, or supervise and monitor sub contractor design, engineering and testing (FAT) of outsourced plc and hmi/scada software systems for plants
h) Monitor and assist technical/workshop staff or sub-contractors to ensure all work is in accordance with scope of work specification as well as standard engineering principles and practices.
i) On site (or assist with) installation, commissioning and client training.
j) Represent the company during meetings.
k) Problem solving and after sales service.
l) Assist the Sales team and Project Engineers during tender stage with the assessment of client specifications to prepare proposals/reports on policy, procedural and operational matters.
m) Check instrument selection for application suitability and cost estimates for tenders/proposals.
n) Prepare or obtain cost estimates for control systems, MCC/PLC cabinets, site
installation, commissioning etc. For tenders/proposals.
o) Supervise and mentor Engineered Systems E, C&I Technicians and in-service trainees.
p) Support and develop implementation of Engineered Systems standardization initiative.
q) Monitor and review hardware and software products relating to automation and information technologies to keep current in automation and network computing technology trends.
r) Maintain currency of professional competence and specialist knowledge.
s) Perform any other reasonable duties required by your designated departmental manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Degree or Diploma in electrical / electronic engineering
2. Three to five years experience in water treatment process plants and equipment
3. Commissioning water treatment plants
4. Software programming and panel design experience
5. Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions
6. Excellent organisation skills
7. Exellent verbal and written skills
