E-Commerce Retail Manager

Location: Parow, Cape Town
Salary: R30k – R35k per month negotiable

About the Role:
The primary function of this role is to run the online store, through the complete value chain, taking full responsibility for the revenue generated by the store. This is a marketing role, with a trading focus, liaising with all aspects of the business in order for the online store to meet targets. By deploying the full suite of digital marketing tools, as well as traditional marketing and CRM, the incumbent will coordinate all traffic and sales driver campaigns, and interface with the overarching brand marketing strategy. They must also be able to stay in control of the operational elements of the store, including logistics, customer care, technology, stock and legal.

Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Digital Marketing experience essential
3+ years campaign management experience
Knowledge and experience of social media and E-commerce for brands
Ability to interpret web analytics, tracking and reporting
Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies and media tactics
Excellent communication skills
Ability to present strategies and marketing plans

Driving and leading the digital and social content strategies
Driving and continuously optimising the digital marketing plan
Driving, conceptualising and implementing all digital marketing campaigns
Drive Omni-channel strategy and initiatives in-store & online
Consistently drive key E-commerce objectives & KPIs such as data acquisition, community growth, increase of conversion rates.
Ensuring all digital marketing initiatives are trackable and match up to overall KPIs and revenue targets
Maintaining and updating the website
Manage all social media accounts
Ensuring all projects and campaigns are executed within allocated budget and deadline
Analysing and reporting on all digital campaigns and promotions
Sourcing of digital content when necessary
Managing external consultants and suppliers
Negotiating affiliate marketing strategies and opportunities
Seeking new opportunities and initiatives to drive revenue and brand awareness online
Consumer and digital trends monitoring and reporting (including competitor analysis)
Managing the E-commerce team to ensure all outputs are met
Work closely with planning team to plan upcoming promotions and sales events within E-commerce discount budget.
Managing the E-commerce relationship and on-going communication with Merchandise, Operations and the E-ommerce contact centre
Managing the relationship with various digital suppliers and external consultants
Full ownership of, and performance reporting management, for all digital properties
Managing and allocating online budget for all expenses in fiscal year, including invoicing and administration.
