E-commerce Product Specialist

Location: Sea Point, Cape Town
Salary: R7k – R9k per month negotiable

About the Role:
We are an exciting company with eCommerce stores, an eCommerce development division and an influencer marketing agency. We are looking for an eCommerce Product Specialist to assist in managing our eCommerce stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing of the daily stock levels, product uploads, price checking and assisting with the customer service when necessary. The right candidate will be passionate about and have experience within eCommerce, have picture editing skills, have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to take ownership of tasks.

Requirements:
Experience with Photoshop (especially basic image editing)
Experience in an eCommerce environment
eCommerce systems knowledge (Magento experience highly advantageous)
Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
Fast learner with the ability and desire to learn and implement new skills
Client focused
Ability to take responsibility for completion of tasks
Able to work independently and to self-manage

Duties:
Daily stock management and site checks to ensure that sites are running correctly
Product uploads
Pricing updates
Check all pricing / descriptions / names on sites
Check and count all actual stock arrivals
Ensure any automatic uploads are done correctly
Maintain stock levels on sites
Edit images to fit with site requirements
Ensure images on the frontend are consistent
Basic backend administration
Be the direct contact for clients
Assist new clients in setting up their product data and images
Test all work done by developers and liaise with clients to ensure full testing occurs
Set-up and test campaigns and promotions for clients
Manage front end changes for clients
Assist with eCommerce customer queries when necessary
