Job description
Job PurposeThe overall objective of this role will be to develop, plan, implement and execute campaigns as well as to ensure campaign objectives are met and to report on the financial Return on Investment (ROI) of the campaigns. The successful candidate should be able to engage with clients to support strategic initiatives and execute and track performance of campaigns. They should be able to provide strategic input into developing out CRM/ Campaign functionality to keep abreast of social and digital platformsKey Responsibilities Campaign Management- Define, implement and maintain a suitable campaign methodology to ensure cost effective and efficient campaign execution- Plan the campaign schedule- Accountable for campaign strategies in order to drive long and short term business objectives- Planning and scoping of new campaigns together with business stakeholders- Day-to-day trafficking and management of digital campaigns- Recommend process improvement, planning and execution of all campaign based activity- Recommend new strategies and tactics to all relevant stakeholders so as to continuously improve the campaign environmentMarket Research- Assist with ad hoc research; campaign briefs, attending focus group discussions; analyse incoming results and prepares research summaries.- Leveraging analytical insights from multiple campaigns across the wider businessInternal & External Engagement- Liaise with the different departments in company to get the campaign started e.g.(work with language services to get campaign approved; work with group marketing to achieve right message and graphics for the campaign; work with Absa suppliers to ensure the campaign is executed- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders- Presenting to teamReporting- Post campaign reporting (including percentage of base campaigned, percentage received, response to campaign and ROI of campaigns)Skills/Qualification/Experience- Degree/Diploma- Minimum 4 years' experience in campaign management through electronic channels (e.g. email, SMS, etc.)- Basic SQL experience preferred- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)- Ability to multi-task and manage a large number of concurrent campaigns- Experience using campaign management software (e.g. Alterian/SDL, SAP, SAS campaign manager, Telrock, Unica, etc), preferred.- Excellent attention to detail- Experience with CRM- Experience in planning, organising, leading and controlling of a business channel or campaign environment will be highly beneficial- Experience in financial services (banking or insurance) or related industry is highly beneficial- Project management experience
