Leading Marketing Group based in Northern Johannesburg are seeking a Marketing Specialist from Sweden to be responsible for the overall growth and development of the Swedish market. This includes influencing the product offering, regional brand strategy, acquisitions funnel, new customer incentives, and customer retention & value management.

You will be required to analyze the full customer user experience and customer life stages, adapt existing communications, develop and test new interventions and constantly strive to improve our overall customer retention rates and value extracted from the region. Where required, based on local/region-specific knowledge and trends, brand choice and positioning decisions will need to be influenced / driven.

The candidate must be a mother tongue Swedish speaker, preferably a recently immigrated Swedish national. The successful candidate will also possess strong marketing, analytical, research and project management skills. They will also be technically minded, and be familiar with web marketing best practices. An inquiring mind is needed in order to be able to creatively solve challenges and propose new and fresh alternatives to existing processes.

Primary objective is to grown, maintain, develop and increase both customer acquisition and retention, activity rates, and revenue through targeted and focused marketing activities and market relevant product offerings in the region.

Develop and implement strategies for acquiring, retaining & growing the customer base through innovative and locally relevant interventions
Track and report on the success of implemented strategies
Researching of competitive forces in the region and ensuring the product and marketing strategy is in line with best practise
Be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the player experience (and brand where required)
Plan, organize and execute promotions and offers that are region / language specific
Identify players for intervention or high value relationship management
Evaluate service levels in the contact centre for the region and identify areas of opportunity and improvement, paying close attention to response times, quality assurance , payment processing, and outbound calling opportunities
Support other web marketing responsibilities as needed
Prepare and communicate regular reports to line management
Guide the overall brand and strategic direction in the region

Experience and skills required:
Candidate should be an experienced marketer
Web / eCommerce experience (Min 2 to 5 yrs)
Strong project management skills
Must be numbers driven with strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Must be deadline and target driven
Highly computer literate
Must be fluent (mother tongue) in Swedish
