Economic Development Analyst

The ED Analyst will be responsible for providing support to the ED team to ensure that information from internal departments and suppliers, is captured, analysed and reported in a timely manner.
Organizational Reporting

Directly report to the Economic Development Manager
Responsibilities

• Obtain understanding of ED contractual commitments i.e. Local Content, Skills Development and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment
• Actively participate in the ED Reporting Tool project roll-out
• Establish ED reporting process to support monitoring and reporting of ED commitments
• Coordinate the timely submission of progress reports by internal and external users and data
• Generate qualitative and quantitative monthly reports on ED commitments
• Support ED team with supplier audits on BBBBEE and Local Content

Educational Requirements
• B Com or other relevant qualification
• Audit articles experience preferable
• Data analysis experience
• Advanced MS Office and MS Project skills
• Reporting and Project Management experience
• Knowledge of B-BBEE preferable
