A reputable well established company that provides Water- and Waste Water Treatment Solutions for Water Utilities (Municipalities and Water Boards) Industrial and Mining Sector has a 3-Year contract opportunity for a vibrant, proactive Civil Engineer in Nelspruit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful incumbent will report to the Operations Manager, and responsibilities include the following:
• Managing Civil Works projects
• Develop specifications, designs and drawings
• Manage budgets for all civil works and repairs
• Developing proposals for the upgrade, refurbishment and repairs of water and waste water treatment works.
• Supervise subordinates and manage subcontractors.
• Compile budgets and operational plans
• Must be able to work under pressure, respond to emergencies and work outside normal operating hours.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. BTech/BSc/N Dip Civil Engineering
2. Business Management Qualification
3. Professional Registration with ECSA
4. Approximately 12 years hands-on water industry experience of which four years must be in a relevant middle management role.

REMUNERATION
Market related salary, which will include Medical aid and pension fund included.
The successful candidate is expected to complete and sign a “Declaration of Interest Contract” with the company.
