EFFLUENT TECHNICIAN R 45 per hour
NQF Level 4, 1-2 years’ experience in effluent operation would be advantageous, Good communication skills, Ability to carry 25kg /litre Chemicals, Computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access) would be an advantage.
You will clean phosphate and effluent filter press. Testing PH and conductivity of waste water, monitor pumping system conditions, Removal of solid waste, liquid waste and oil waste to the allocated areas, Replacement of filter cloth to all filter press when necessary, Changing of KTL and Alu-wash filters, Making sure waste water discharge meets specifications. Doing minor maintenance on pipes, Cleaning of Membrane and KTL Contact V-Blocks
