Electrical Draughtsman

Our client a leading international Building Solutions concern seeks to appoint an Electrical Draughtsman with a minimum of 3 years relevant electrical draughting experience on AutoCad. This is a fixed term contract position. The successful incumbent must be able to commence employment at relatively short notice. In the event that the candidate is not permanently based in Lephalale, accommodation arrangements will be made.

Requirements
• Draughting qualification and AutoCAD knowledge.
• BTech/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be advantageous.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience within a drawing office environment.
• Have experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Be available to start at relatively short notice

Responsibilities
• Draw master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions using AutoCad.
• Projects are completed within specified time frame and according to set standards as well as projects involved in, are supervised and compliance is ensured.
• Design and draw wiring and layout diagrams.
• Draft technical details.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
• Draw in minute details of structures.
• Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings.
• Create and store drawings electronically.
• Program drawings into automated manufacturing systems.
• Prepare variations of design.
• Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.
