A large Cement company is urgently looking for a qualified Electrical Draughtsman to join their team in Lime Acres:

SCOPE OF WORK

Working closely with the Plant Engineer to prepare technical drawings of electrical wiring systems. This will include:

New and as-built Single Line Diagrams
New and as-built Schematic Diagrams
New and as-built Cabling Diagrams
New and as-built Control & Instrumentation Drawings
Work closely with the electrical installation and maintenance teams to ensure that all work is executed on-site according to the related technical specifications and installation procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification with associated practical experience

CAD EXPERIENCE

MUST be fully efficient as an expert user in AutoCAD 2D

WORK EXPERIENCE

10 years' experience within the mining experience as an Electrical Draughtsman
Drawing office management
Practical wiring and wiring tracing experience will be an advantage
previous LV, MV, HV reticulation drawing experience will be an advantage
Inputs for preparing and producing technical manuals or work instructions might be requested by the Plant Engineer from time to time

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Must be fluent in English
Basic understanding and communication skills in Afrikaans will be an advantage
Must be willing to work overtime to meet deliverables urgently required
