An International, multidisciplinary construction company, specializing in design and construction is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team and to manage various projects in Dubai. This position will be a contract position of 10 Months. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience within the design and site supervision of Electrical Engineering.

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, develop, build, and test of mechanical devices. Skills needed include planning, scheduling, conducting and rotating equipment assignments requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures; preparing pumps requisition for inquiry and purchase of equipment and services; and providing the technical expertise to assist in achieving accuracy in project piping and instrumentation drawings. A bachelor's degree in a related field is a requirement. Candidates must have experience in Climate Control Systems.repair climate-control systems in, and replace worn-out components.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Planning and organizing production schedules;
• Review and adjust the schedule where needed;
• Implement and control the production schedule;
• Assessing project and resource requirements;
• Provide strategy, vision, and direction; make decisions that establish objectives for the overall direction or operation of a significant project or area;
• Identify, clarify, and resolve issues with strategic impact and substantial significance, which may span multiple areas, using advanced technical and professional knowledge requiring broad discretion and judgment;
• Collaborate with others on the direction of activities relevant to long-term objectives;
• Develop strategies to ensure effective achievement of objectives;
• Supervise other staff, including hiring, performance management, and related duties, in addition to providing instruction on complex techniques and direction on projects;
• Negotiate with internal departments and external agencies with authority to commit resources and effort;
• Oversee department budget and guide staff in managing project schedules in support of large programs and/or multiple projects;
• Develop policies and procedures as they relate to department activities;
• Implement and maintain quality control standards, and evaluate program effectiveness;
• Recommend the adoption of emerging technologies and the development of new methods and approaches;
• Liaise with senior management and cross functional areas and schools; and
• Serve as a liaison to external organizations;

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience and/or background in the following is required -
• Demonstrated experience defining and driving adoption of business and engineering best practices and processes;
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects or programs, including highly developed capabilities in engineering best practices and project management, including creating requirements specifications, developing cost estimates and project schedules, managing risks, and driving a complex project through to readiness for operation;
• Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering concepts, theories, practices, and tools demonstrated through hands-on experience in design, analysis, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of complex systems;
• Demonstrated experience designing and installing particle beam systems and equipment;
• Expertise in design, manufacturing and maintenance of ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) systems and equipment including clean room procedures and techniques, practical application of materials and fabrication methodologies as well as methods of verification;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively conveying complex technical concepts;
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organization and facilitate cross-functional efforts;
• Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to manage and resolve both technical and people issues and take corrective actions independently; and
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and lead strategic actions while balancing the input and needs of a diverse set of stakeholders.
