We would only look at candidates with Bsc Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Power or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering and you must have good academic results as this would also count

The incumbents must be willing to register with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). The expected attributes include willingness to learn, qualities of a team player, and sound interpersonal and communication skills.The preferred candidates must be conversant with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of Matlab will be an advantage.

The successful candidates will be developed in the transformer engineering discipline through a structured training programme, which will be guided by the Development and Support Manager (Electrical). The incumbents will undertake practical training in a factory environment and transformer design training. They will provide technical support to Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town plants, conduct development work of the transformer design system (TDS), perform research on Thermal-Load losses and hotspots, and Short-circuit disciplines. In addition, they will assist with the evaluation of materials and thus provide technical solutions.
