What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation consulting sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Plant Electrical Systems Design, and Single Line Diagram Creation
* Technical Specification of MCCs and Panel Design
* Earthing, Lightning Protection and Load Balancing
* Utilising basic understanding of Control Loops and Loop Drawings
* Electrical Calculations for Current, Loads, Power, Power Factor Correction etc...

Key Job Deliverables:

* Create Single Line Diagrams of Electrical Designs
* Create Specifications for 3rd Party Equipment and Design Engineers
* Produce Bills of Quantities for Designs

Background work experience:

* 5 years Plant Electrical System Design
* 5 years Electrical Engineering of Medium Voltage Systems
* 5 years Electrical Usage Measurement
* 5 years Single Line Diagrams and Electrical System Modelling
* Electrical Engineering Degree
* Electrical Engineering of Plant Electrical Systems
* Design in medium voltage plant electrical systems
* Calculation and simulation of Current, Voltage, Power, Power Factors, Transients etc...
* Using measuring equipment to determine power usage and power signatures. Also load types like highly inductive loads.
* Single line diagrams of the plant and modelling to determine if design is suitable
* Advantageous: Expertise in Control and Instrumentation
