ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – Potchefsstroom, NW Province
Manufacturing company looking for an Electrical Engineer – for their engineering plant.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To oversee electrical designs, ensure installations conform to standards and customer requirements electrically.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical drawings, equipment, products and systems
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities
• Detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems
• Plan and implement research methodology and procedures
• Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment & major repairs

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s/ BTech degree in Electrical Engineering
• Min 5 years relevant experience in the manufacturing environment
• PMP Certification - advantage.
• MS Projects or similar project schedule package training
• SAP
• MS Word, Excel, Power Point-proficient level (minimum)
• Excellent Mathematics, Science & IT skills
• The ability to make and understand technical drawings
• An in-depth understanding and working knowledge of the manufacturing environment
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills incl. presentations/ report writing

SALARY: R30k - 45k pm – negotiable with the experience
